COLD AND HOMELESS??
Lower Bucks Churches are ready to help:
When the temperature is going to be 20 degrees for two
nights or more, you may call the Code Blue Hotline,
1-877-260-2936, to confirm that a designated church will
provide you a warm bed for the night. Go to one of the
pick-up locations and wait for a van with the Code Blue
sign. Approximate times are listed below (?-Times may vary
due to unexpected changes.)
If you have a cell phone number, it is recommended you leave
it with the Code Blue Staff when you call, to aid for van
call backs.
7:55? - Reach Out Foundation, 229 Plaza Blvd, Morrisville
8:15? - Edgely Rd. off Route. 13 at the Canal, Levittown
8:25? - Lenape Crisis Center, Behind Lower Bucks Hospital, -
Bath Rd., Bristol
8:35? - In front of Walmart Store - Route 413 and 13
8:45? - In front of Pathmark Store,- Durham Rd., Bristol
(+ Other stops as necessary)
No one under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be
permitted.
You will be asked to agree to abide by shelter rules.
You will be allowed to bring one 30 gallon trash bag of
possessions with you for safe-keeping. Upon arrival the Code
Blue team will place your name on the bag and place it in a
secure location for you overnight. You will not be permitted
in the bag during your stay. You will be given your bag back
